Summary:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the financial, administrative, and clerical support of the company.
The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned departments by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
The Administrative Assistant will provide support to VP of finance and the executive assistant to the President, assisting in a daily office needs and management our company's general administrative activities.

Duties/
Responsibilities:
Providing support to the Finance Department and the office of the President.
Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, making copies, processing emai,l and mail, etc.
Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
Maintains filing systems as assigned.
Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
May coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for executive management.
Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings.
Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
Ability to work independently.
Education and
Experience:
Minimum education required High School Diploma or GED and five years of administrative experience.
Associate degree or bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
Three to five years of experience in an administrative role.
Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, and strong typing skills.
Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with basic accounting principles is a plus.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
Physical Requirements:
Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
