Position Title:
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Principal Responsibility:
During patient hours- chart/ assist dentist with patients, take xrays, place and finish restorations, band, seat patients, patient intakes, apply fluoride, check charges Non-patient hours-prepare charts for appointments, help with opening and closing duties/cleaning Duties:
-Assist, place, and finish restorations -Chart with Dr -Help administer nitrous and monitor patient -Place sealants -Take radiographs -Band -Coronal polish and apply fluoride -Seat, review paperwork/health history -Help turnover units, maintain sterilization -Check and balance charges -Review daysheet with Dr.
-Pull/file charts -Review and prepare charts for appointment -Help with opening and closing duties -Help with cleaning, stocking, and laundry -Make new patient charts Benefit Conditions:
