Increase overall revenue of AAA Hoosier Motor Club service centers by promoting products and services, and performing customer service duties for members while meeting the highest quality standards, achieving and/or exceeding ATS Quality Standard #8 per AAA National guidelines. Aggressively utilize POC (Point of Contact) the HMC Way training to ensure achieving the maximum results at each point of contact opportunity with every customer.
This position will be required to float to other Service Centers as necessary.
1. Gains knowledge of and markets products/services, as well as, serving the needs of members which include but are not limited to the following:
Accurately handling financial assets and other negotiable instruments so as to protect the club or its' customers.
Promotes, sells, and processes Basic, Plus, Plus RV, and Inter-club Memberships, hotel/motel/car Reservations, VISA Travel Products, AAA Box Office Tickets, AAA Travel Store products, Show Your Card & Save, Marketing promotions, and other products and services;
Promotes AAA travel agency by cross-selling products; refers customers to Travel Agents.
Enthusiastically promotes Booster Award program and the AAA Auto Club Cellular Telephone program;
Answers member inquiries or direct members to responsible department through working knowledge of AAA programs;
Enthusiastically counsel members on travel plans (TripTik routings, marked maps, TourBooks, hotel-motel-car reservations, brochures, etc.); ensuring that the best routes, construction, and other information is presented to the member.
Promotes advantages of ITT Automated Trip-Tik routings and marked maps; prepares the ITT on site. Promotes the address to address feature of the ITT along with other advantages.
Performs daily cashiering/accounting duties, bank deposit reconciliation and completes daily sales records;
Utilizes POS (point of sale system) on all transactions, continually enhancing personal skill levels enabling accurate reporting within the service center inventory items
Makes telephone calls to expired members so as to obtain membership renewal
Performs stock functions including physical lifting of any AAA materials, i.e. TourBook boxes; etc.
Meets appropriate goals/quotas set forth by management; and
2. Apply knowledge of policies and procedures and relay this information clearly and understandably to every member situation.
3. Reports in writing any variances from established internal controls or any other abuse of established financial (accounting) procedures to service center management, Director of Service Center Operations, and Internal Auditor.
4. Continues to upgrade technical expertise in the auto travel/member services areas.
5. Commutes to any service center or the CommunicationCenter and provides coverage, as directed by Auto Travel Coordinator/Senior Auto Travel Coordinator or Service Center Manager
6. Performs additional tasks as assigned by supervisor or management.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Valid U.S. driver''s license
Ability to interact and communicate with members/guests/co-workers/management.
Ability to work as a team member to accomplish pre-determined goals.
Ability to travel independently throughout the building to access information. This may include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Basic keyboarding/computer skills with the ability to operate office machines (typewriter, copy machine, computer, calculator, multi-phone line, FAX machine)
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
