The Counsel role is a key contributor in assisting internal business partners with their strategic initiatives while managing risk in a highly regulated environment. The candidate will provide legal support for the various life and health insurance operations units, including claims and policyholder services, by researching and analyzing issues/ laws, drafting legal opinions and counseling business partners on application of regulatory requirements to the business' practices. The candidate will also participate in projects with other areas of the legal department to provide support and guidance regarding regulatory issues which may be pertinent.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
