Business Development Representative

Summary:
The Business Development Representative supports and partners with the Sales and Finance teams to drive business for the store they are assigned. 100% of the BDRs time will be spent building rapport with our customers while scheduling appointments via the web and telephone. The BDR will become knowledgeable about JD Byrider and all phases of the outbound call/ appointment setting process. The objective of the role is to drive appointments, applications and sales for the assigned store(s). This role will also develop and train talent to build a pipeline for our future growth needs within Sales and CNAC.
Hours- 40 hours/week
- Evenings and Weekends are Required

Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 9:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sunday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm

Sales/Operations
Achieves daily, weekly and monthly appointment and application goals.
Contacts all hot leads within 10 minutes of receipt
Engages active leads on via web chat when appropriate
Conducts cold calls to potential new customers that are provided within the Discover System
Schedules a minimum of 15 appointments/week
Handle all phone calls with the utmost professionalism.
Provides a clean handoff to the sales team to ensure a seamless application process for the customer
Inputs all pertinent notes into Discover to assist the sales team
Sales and Customer Service
Understands how the J.D. Byrider and CNAC Finance Operations work and is able to explain it to customers in everyday terms.
Be able to overcome objections presented by the customer while maintaining and building rapport.
Make every customer feel welcome with a professional greeting.
Create a lasting good impression by looking, acting, and speaking in a professional manner.
Focus on the customer by asking questions, listening and determining their needs.
Build rapport with every customer to find out more about each customer and investigate their current needs.
Treats each customer with courtesy and respect.
Requirements:
Desired Background
Telephone based sales or appointment scheduling experience is highly desired
Customer service experience is required
Ability to effectively and clearly communicate over the phone
Comfort with a variety of computer based systems and interfaces
Minimum typing of 35 wpm
Experience working in a call center environment is preferred but not required
Ability to follow a script and an outlined process is necessary

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
