My client is currently seeking a ,.NET Developer to join their team in Carmel, Indiana. This is a Permanent Position. The annual salary offered is $70K - $75K. Client is only interested in candidates who are local to the Indianapolis area.
Primary
Responsibilities:
This position will primarily focus on supporting existing code, trouble shooting defects for code in production, making code changes within already existing code and being on call for a period of time each month.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Analyze databases and compare data results to application code to uncover issues
Analyze business rules within existing application code and make code changes or create new solutions that support the existing business logic
Research and modify other developers code
Develop workarounds to prevent disruption of and to support critical business process which are being effected by software issues while application changes are being researched and pursued
Work directly with Tier 2 and end users to collaboratively identify and resolve software issues
Utilize rapid application development methodologies to implement solutions with high quality
Develop new functionality within existing code
Meet given deadlines for patch releases
Participate in On Call/After Hours every 6 weeks
Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess these traits and skills:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent education and work experience
2 4 years development experience
Ability to learn proprietary revenue cycle management software
VB, SSRS and SQL database experience is required,
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of object-oriented design techniques
Experience with client/server and n-tier application architectures
Knowledge of NET Frameworks 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5, VB6, C#, jQuery
Experience with .NET WPF applications and NHibernate (and equivalent object relational mapping packages) desired
Proficiency using Microsoft Office and other technology
Ability to solve complex problems in a timely manner
Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills.
Works well managing multiple priorities independently or as part of a team in a fast paced environment
Ability to do what it takes to meet deadlines for releases.
High attention to detail and adherence to established processes
